| i have AT&T service and i am unable to go onto the internet. is there away someone can help me to set this up | |

| make sure the proxy is changed and the "APN" is WAP.voicestream.com
Create Data Account
1. Select Menu 2. Select Entertainment 3. Select Services 4. Select Data Account 5. Select GPRS 6. Choose an empty profile 7. Account Name enter T-Mobile Internet 8. Press Options 9. Press Done 10. APN enter WAP.voicestream.com 11. Press Options 12. Press Done 13. User Name >Leave Blank< 14. Password >Leave Blank< 15. Auth. Type choose Normal 16. Press Done 17. Press Save
Create Profile 1. Select Menu 2. Select Entertainment 3. Select Services 4. Select WAP 5. Select Setting 6. Select Edit Profile 7. Select a profile 8. Choose Edit Profile 9. Rename Profile enter T-Mobile Internet 10. Homepage enter www.tmobile.com 11. Data Account select GPRS 12. Select T-Mobile WAP 13. Connection Type select HTTP 14. Proxy Address enter 216.155.165.050 15. Port enter 8080 16. User Name >Leave Blank< 17. Password >Leave Blank< 18. Press Done 19. When prompted to SAVE please select Yes 20. Select Activate Profile 21. When prompted to Activate Profile please choose Yes 22. Press Done | |

| I set it up the way you posted, do i need to be near a wireless internet location? Do i need to call Tmobile and set it up with them? When i try to get on the internet it says I cannot access that site | |

| Do you have the black "G" in the blue box on the top of your screen? If not, the internet is not set up. Do you have an accout with Tmobile that allows you internet access? If not' you must get one. The phone accesses the internet with GPRS not WI-FI, so no need to be near a "hot spot", just having a phone signal is all that's needed. | |

| Yea i dont have one setup with tmobile yet, I will do that Also i heard people saying they see Boxes where text should be on the web sites and have limited web access...any info on this? | |

| I see boxes instead of characters for some pages... I think it has to do with language issues... even though you have it set for English or whatever, it sometimes tried to grap the chinese page or something. Depending on your wireless service, you may or may not have internet service. My T-mobile prepaid only gives me access to their T-zones pages (forget the cost). If you have their data plan, you should be able to access more. My Rogers prepaid (Canada) gives me full MOBILE internet but costs 5 cents per page. | |

| If I'm not mistaken, I remember reading somewhere the boxes are from the phone not being able to handle Java applications. | |

| maybe, but if I go to just plain google mobile, I see the boxes. If I tell it to go to google mobile english, I don't see the boxes. | |
