Ok I've had the priviledge of a day's usage.I must say it seems to work quite well.I have to reference the manual a few times to get me used to navigation.I think I'm gonna like it.I just need to find a decent holder for it in my vehicle.I know it's gonna get dropped if I don't..Thanks for all the info on this site .. Very Helpful!!!!!!!

Great to hear. Smile You should have no issues with the P168C. the latest build is is solid. unlike the bugs in the "+" version.

I'm curious....What is the date on your battery say?

The date on both batteries is July 2008.. Does that mean anything special?

Yes If you read the Link in my signature, you will learn the history of this phone along with all the information regarding the CECT P168 and what all the versions mean.


I asked because when the P168C was released in June 2008 it was the newest build. meaning the firmware was updated bugs fixed and visual changes (the menu etc...)

you have the July 2008 build so it could contain more bug fixes/changes.
