Click on "Get standard settings" Accept the "terms and continue", then click "start" choose the settings for a Nokia 2610. Follow the instructions and your cect will be configured in a matter of seconds.

| I get a pop up box that says "install new settings", I click okay, and the another pop up box that says "enter PIN". If you didn't get that message then get the settings resent. | |

My phone is P168 without plus, c or s. Maybe that is the problem.

| Ya I first had went to an at&t store and the guy said he had handled one before but not doing the mms and internet, he took 20 min just trying to figure it out. It only took me 10 to find the settings and set it up myself. | |

Are you on Rogers Canada???? If so, here's the PAYG setup: --- After a lot of searching and wrong info, I finally got SMS, MMS and WAP working on my P168+ for Rogers PAYG. If you don't have PAYG, this might not work... Here's the how-to: SMS: home->PIM->messages->SMS->message settings Profile setting: name it whatever, number is +17057969300 Common setting: reply path ON Pref. Bearer: prefer GSM Now you need to set up a data account: home->entertainment->services->Data account->GPRS choose a slot and edit it. Account name: name it whatever APN: media.com username: media password: mda01 auth. type: secure save it and exit. MMS: home->PIM->messages->MMS->message settings->server profile choose a slot and OK edit profile rename profile: name it whatever homepage: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com data account: find the data account in GPRS that you just made above connection type: HTTP even if it already says http, you need to select it, reselect http proxy address: 010.128.001.069 (NOT 172.25.0.107 as most places say) Proxy port: 80, go back username: media password: mda01 done, save and then activate profile WAP: home->entertainment->services->WAP->settings->edit profile choose a slot, OK, edit profile Rename profile: whatever you want homepage: mymobilehomepage.rogers.com data account: choose the data account you created above connection type: http even if it already says HTTP, you need to select it, reselect http proxy address: 208.200.067.150 Proxy port: 8080, go back username: wapuser1 password: wap done, save, activate profile

| Hi tdinc,
You are definitely very knowledgeable on the P168 (re Judee). Just a simple question. I have a P168C and I am having difficulty opening the back, for access to the battery and sim cards. I know its very easy to open it without the battery inside, but with the battery in it - it's next to impossible. Any suggestions? I'm not desperate yet.
Cheers, | |

Cheers, look here HERE NOTe: just make sure you keep your fingers off the screen on the bottom when holding it so you don't ruin it and also, with the battery in, use you thumbs on the edges of the phone not the middle when sliding up to remove the cover plate.
