Touchscreen problems

I've had my P168+ for less than a week and the touchscreen no longer works. Is there a way to disable the touchscreen accidentally. Maybe I disabled it accidentally. Otherwise, it seems it's dead. The phone still works. For example, I can call the phone and it rings, I can pick up the call with the hard buttons but I cannot do anything with the screen. Anyone have any ideas?

try taking the battery out and let the phone sit for a few minutes. put in a fully charged battery and start the phone up. Its worth a shot.

let us know what happens... maybe someone else had the same issue and can be solved..

Thanks for the tip. I tried that but no luck. I've emailed the seller so hopefully I won't have a problem sending it back. I'll let you know if I come up with any other suggestions from them.

if you can send it back do it! dont get a new one, find and buy a P168C

What about the P168i?? Is that a completely different animal but it seems like the latest and greatest.

If you want an in expensive iphone clone, i would go with the i9.

i plan on getting on soon.

Let us know how you go with the i9 - as I've been contemplating on getting one too. I've got the P168C at the moment (AUD$160). The i9 seems to be more modern, more iPhoneni like.
