when ever i turn on or off my phone, it makes a really loud intro music. does anyone know how to turn that off?

In your user profile -> tone setup, there's the power on and power off tone, which you can set to off.

A tone might also play when the phone finds the cell provider, that's in your user profile -> extra tone -> camp on tone, you want to uncheck that.
